Linda Statam grew up in Sag Harbor with an interest and empathy for the people around her. This led her to a degree in psychology. Marriage, divorce and single parent hood, however, diverted her into the business world for 20 years. She did continue to study healing with major American teachers on the side and also taught meditation classes. When the time came for a career change, she explored hypnosis. She was impressed that it had been recognized by the American Medical Association in 1958 as an adjunct medical therapy and was impressed by its myriad applications. It seemed the perfect complement to all she had studied in the past. Thus Hamptons Hypnosis was born.

Linda considers herself a guide. She takes her clients on a tour within themselves to explore their hidden potential, to find their dreams, to chase away the nightmares, fill in the missing pieces, to find the answers, ...its all there, inside ...she simply takes their hand and leads them on the way, gently and safely ...so they can begin to create whatever they truly desire.
